1st Green Week

This week sees the Green Team hold their first 'Green Week' at Methley Primary. The Green Team will be launching the week with an exciting assembly on Monday during which they will share all their fantastic ideas for helping the school to become more green.

Each day the classes will hold a no power hour and the green team representatives throughout school will assess the impact this has on our power usage.
Friday will also see our first green day where children will be invited to wear a green item, or all green to school to celebrate green week.

First Green Team Meeting! 3.10.11

I am pleased to announce that the newly formed Green Team will be meeting for the first time on Monday 3rd October at 9.30am.

The exciting 'Green School' project will be launched in school on Monday 31st October therefore the Green Team will have lots of planning to do!

Each class has a Green Team representative who will meet each term and discuss ideas for helping to make our school sustainable, alongside this the year 5 and 6 Green Team members will report to the school council to give them an update on what is happening.

The school Green Team Members are:

William Hanson, Oliver Savory, Hollie Worsnop, Ewan Aitchison, Harry Harding, Eddie Jones, Joseph Dyson-Abad, Ethan Gray, Molly Aitchison, Tyler Askin, Tom Foster and Matthew Laverik.

All of these children will be invited to the 1st Green Team meeting in the next few weeks and will help to plan and prepare a Green Launch for the school.
